How to Install
Traditional Mural

Before You Begin
Portray wallpaper is recommended to be installed on smooth surfaces. Surfaces are recommended to be primed.
Step 1 |
Clean and dry your walls thoroughly.
Step 2 |
Unroll panels.
(Note: Each panel is labeled at the bottom with a number in the order of installation from left to right.)
Ensure panels have arrows pointing up.
(Note: Look for reference ↑↑ on panel.)
It is recommended to layout all panels to visualize orientation and alignment before installation.Step 3 |
The installation process should begin at the top left corner of your wall.
Peel approximately 10 inches of the backing to stick panel to your wall.
Align & adjust the top of the panel to your wall confirming vertical alignment with your level.Step 4 |
Using your plastic smoothing tool, work your way from top to bottom, smoothing out and removing any bubbles from paper.
(Note: Gradually remove backing as needed.)Step 5 |
Once the first panel is set, repeat installation process with remaining panels, placing the panels flush against one another. There should be no space left between panels.
(Note: Verify design alignment from panel to panel.)
Once all panels have been installed, trim any excess material using a craft knife.
(Note: Ensure craft knives are sharp to avoid any tears in the paper.)Installation Notice
